Please note, to receive coaching you are required to be a member. During the summer clubs receive a grant which enables us coaches to deliver junior programs at a much more affordable rate than the winter time. During the winter time Term 2 and 3 coaching continues but the user pays for the services of the coach.
The Membership Sub for juniors is $35 dollars per year, if your child is intending to compete in team competitions such as interclub then the sub is $50 per year.
Oliver is a USA qualified coach (USPTR) with a NZIHF qualification in Fitness & Personal Training with more than 10 years of international coaching experience, fitness and nutrition. Born in Germany he played Oberliga Team Tennis for several clubs and toured to most of the national senior master events playing more than 30 tournaments a year and consistently achieving great results. He also toured the United States and Mexico playing the future tour from 2004 to 2006. Now head coach at 2 venues in the Bay of Plenty, he is thriving with the challenges involved, from promoting the game at beginner level to producing national and international elite juniors. Players of any age and standard will benefit from Oliver’s experience and expertise, whilst his friendly, approachable manner will make it a fun & enjoyable experience.
